Life
It has been an interesting 30 years. I left Fairbanks and headed south for Alabama. Went to college for one year and the the hippy years came and SPUN me around a bit. Finally got back to college and majored in Art. Close to my heart but not very profitable. Started a health food store, a book store and a wood stove store. Sold these and went back to school, eventually got my masters in engineering and now work for Lockheed as a Nasa contractor. (Still got the heart of that hippy.) One daughter and 1 grandaughter. Life is wonderful. I sure miss those northern lights.
Well life has changed a bit for me. I was diagnosed with MS (Multiple Sclerosi...Expand for more
s) in 1979. It did not impact me too much at the time, that's when I went back to college in Engineering. I finally retired from Lockheed with a disability retitrement. Now I'm trying to actualize all the things I said I'd do when I retired. Wish me luck.
I now have a grandson too! Being a grandparent is WONDERFUL!
Living with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) has been interesting, I am living life one minute at a time, when I have a setback I make adjustments and continue on. I have a very GOOD partner in my husband.
ANYBODY else out there that has MS? Northern climates have a higher incidence and the Statistician in me can't help but ask. Thanks for the input.
